It is no secret that I LOVE FALL!! And I don’t mean pumpkin spice lattes, I am talking about all the things….pumpkin patches, cooler weather, walks in our neighborhood, fall festivals, autumn decor, spooky stuff, the list goes on.
We stay active in our family and love a good day of adventure, so in the spirit of sharing I pulled together a list of 2019 fall events, pumpkin patches and family friendly Halloween delights. Cheers to cooler weather and pumpkin everything!
Do you run a local business and struggle to come up with ideas for social media?
I’ve been sharing tons of ideas for boutiques this whole week. Between lives over on Facebook and a very special idea-filled email to my subscribers, I’ve been passing on my favorite tips for you to repurpose and create today for your own social media!
I have one last tip I am dying to share – and this one can be used for any type of local business.
I absolutely love public relations. When I first went to college I studied PR with the idea that I’d be an event planner.
I was totally wrong about what PR people actually do. And, I quickly learned that most people have the wrong idea about public and media relations, and especially small business – they simply don’t know how easily attainable it can be.
Sure, hiring an agency is the best case scenario. I also understand for small businesses this is usually not an affordable option.
In my course, I will be offering some helpful tips to maximize PR efforts, as well as create media releases, talking points and prepare for media interviews.
But before that, I wanted to share one of my favorite ideas for getting media coverage.
In honor of our anniversary and the popularity of my original post, I wanted to give y’all an update! Some places have opened, some have shuttered, but more importantly others we have grown to absolutely love – which means real advice on things to do!
Instagram is one of the best social platforms for boutiques and lifestyle brands. You have the opportunity to showcase your products in multiple ways, bring your audience on a journey and connect your personal brand with your customers’ goals and dreams.
There are also a lot of things you can do horribly wrong, and I see these on a daily basis as I engage with brands online. Are you guilty of any of these below?
Being a mom is super rewarding, but it also the most isolating gig I have ever known. When I became a stay at home, I survived on mommy & me activities until I made friends and created a solid circle of mamas to surround myself with.
As women, we are meant to have a solid circle of friends. But for many of us, motherhood or relocation can just kick us in the booty and leave us feeling lonely.
So I wanted to throw together a list of places where you and your babe can go hang out. Because we all deserve a little fun, mama!
Hi my name is Lisa and I am addicted to statement earrings. The more unique the better!
But I love a good deal even more…
When I was a young girl, I wasn’t allowed to wear jewelry. Always being a rebel at heart, I would sneakily buy jewelry at Claire’s and put it on as soon as I got to school. I’ve loved jewelry and shoes as far back as I can remember!
So I pulled together some of my favorite earrings from Amazon and online boutiques, all less than $20!
