I get so much joy from shopping. My spending has been majorly curbed with becoming a stay at home mom and now with our upcoming move. But every once in a while I find some amazing deals….and get to spend some commission money!
This week was particularly hard. BabyCoolJ had strep throat and is always a terror on antibiotics, and he also had a bad fall that brought EMS to our house. Thankfully all is good – but this mama needed some retail therapy!

Pink Jelly Flats. I have loved jellies ever since my first pair sometime in the 80’s as a single-digit kid. And I still remember my most favorite pair when I was in middle school – they were clear glitter and had a cute little wedge. I remember being at a Mexican dollar store and they were only $3, so my father happily bought them for me! One summer, because I thought I was too cool to wear water shoes, I wore those wedge jellies in the Frio River and lost them forever. I still miss them. Then I found these….y’all, hot PINK jellies!! I actually have an identical pair in teal I picked up in Fredericksburg for $38. They fit the same, so this was a total score at $18.99.

NYX Cosmic Metals Lip Cream in Crystallized Metal. I saw a beauty blogger share this beautiful lip color on Instagram and I had to have it! I love NYX lip products so I knew I would probably dig it. It looks gorgeous on (I’ll update soon with a photo!) and wears really well. It is hydrating and the pigment is beautiful. I used to love glosses but avoided them after turning 30 (personal choice), but this looks so great without being sticky or too 90’s looking. And I shopped the price and saved nearly .50 by buying on Amazon.
Galaxy S7 Case, BENTOBEN 2 in 1 Luxury Glitter Bling Hybrid Slim Hard Cover. I recently upgraded my phone to the Samsung S7 (I know, the 9 is out, but it was a gift!) and I needed a new case. I’m obviously really feeling the rose gold so now I have a case to match my lipstick! I especially love this case because the glitter is a design so no rough material or pieces falling. It is on the cheaper side, but perfect for me!
Little Blue Truck’s Springtime. We love the Little Blue Truck series, and this book will be a great addition to BabyCoolJ’s Easter basket! We don’t give him sugar so having small gifts for him is important to us. It’s always a little bit of a concern not to make it about gifts, but it is my love language so I am happy to put it together in a basket of love!

Kingseye Water Painting Graffiti Book Card 26 Letters Children. I talked about this item in a recent post about eating out with toddlers so I was excited to purchase and try it ourselves! We had something similar that had to be tossed, but this looks like it will withstand some hard toddler behavior. Wish I could give it to him already, but we are just a few weeks away from Easter!
RADIUS – Totz Toothbrush. Okay, so nothing special except my kiddo loves these toothbrushes! I picked them after reading all the reviews and trying a few other in-store options, and these have proved to be his fav. He loves brushing his teeth (in part due to Daniel Tiger, I’m sure!) and he is so excited to get a new color every month.
You know you have genuinely crossed over to mommyHOOD when your exciting online shopping haul includes a book and toddler toothbrushes. So is the life!
